The Australian seamer switched the bails before Nathan Lyon’s breakthrough
In the ongoing fourth Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test in Melbourne, on the third day, Mitchell Starc, who's a pacer for Australia, cleverly switched the bails; this seemed to help them a lot. After that, Nathan Lyon an Australian spinner managed to take an important wicket; towards the end of the 65th over with the second-to-last ball, Lyon got Ravindra Jadeja out. Jadeja was trapped in front, and even after a review of the on-field decision, it was confirmed he was out LBW.
Changing the bails up has kind of turned into a primary move in this series and players from both Australia and India have pulled it off before. Last test, Mohammed Siraj from India did the bail-switch action right before all-rounder Nitish Reddy managed to get a wicket.
Starc's marvelous move to switch the bails and then Lyon getting Jadeja out was all caught on video. Right after it happened, Star Sports posted it on X , showing everyone exactly how it occurred in the moment.
