The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 started on February 7 in India and Sri Lanka. It is the 10th edition of this major international T20 tournament. Matches are being played at eight stadiums five in India (Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai) and three in Sri Lanka (two in Colombo and one in Kandy). The tournament will run until March 8.
A total of 20 teams are playing in the competition. They are divided into four groups, with five teams in each group. The top two teams from every group will qualify for the Super 8 stage, which will be held from February 22 to March 1. The semifinals are scheduled for March 4 and 5, and the final will be played on March 8.
