The ICC T20 World Cup 2026 will begin on February 7, 2026. The tournament is being hosted by India and Sri Lanka and will feature 20 teams. The final will be played on March 8, 2026. India are the defending champions and will try to win the title again under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav.
Before the first match, the opening ceremony will be held with performances by celebrities to kick-start the tournament. As per reports, the opening ceremony will take place at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, ahead of the opening match between India and USA.
