Sri Lanka Crush Oman by 105 Runs to Stay Unbeaten in T20 World Cup

Sri Lanka now have two wins in two matches in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. After beating Ireland earlier, they easily defeated Oman today. Oman lost badly by 105 runs and are still without a win in the tournament. Chasing 226 was always difficult, and they started poorly.
They lost skipper Jatinder Singh (1), Aamir Kaleem (6) and Hammad Mirza (9) inside the first six overs. Mohammad Nadeem and Wasim Ali resurrected the innings with a 42-run stand for the fourth wicket. The Lankans dented Oman’s progress by dismissing Wasim (27), Vinayak Shukla (1), Jiten Ramanandi (0) and Nadeem Khan (2) in a quick succession.
