South Africa Announces Squad for Tri-Series Opener in Pakistan, Pacer Returns Before Champions Trophy

South Africa has announced their squad for the first ODI of the tri-series against Pakistan and New Zealand, which will take place on February 10 in Lahore.
Gerald Coetzee has been included in the squad for the opening match after recovering from a left injury setback. Coetzee, last played for South Africa on November 27, now making a return to the tri-series.
For the first match of the tri-series, South Africa will also have some new options to consider, with six uncapped players named in the squad. Meeka-eel Prince, Gideon Peters, Eathan Bosch, and Mihali Mpongwana, are uncapped players. Matthew Breetzke has played in both Tests and T20Is, while Senuran Muthusamy has played four Tests.
The squad for the remainder of the series will be updated after the conclusion of the ongoing SA20 league in South Africa, with players like Keshav Maharaj and Heinrich Klaasen expected to be available for the second game.
This tri-series helped to prepare for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy, which starts on February 19.
