The signed jersey, along with other items donated to Andrew Strauss’ charity, Red for Ruth, became the highest-selling memorabilia at the Budds auction. Despite India losing the third Test by 22 runs, they made a strong comeback later in the series.

Shubman Gill’s special-edition jersey, worn during the England Test series, was sold for £4500 at the Budds auction. Described as “unwashed” and showing “signs of match wear with staining,” the jersey was expected to fetch between £120-£150 but far exceeded that estimate. The jersey worn in support of the Ruth Strauss Foundation, featured the official India Test crest and becаme a rare collector's item, representing a memorable moment at Lord’s. Known for his elegаnt batting and composed nature, Gill continues to be one of the most promising talents in world cricket.

The second-highest sales of jerseys belonged to Jasprit Bumrah аnd Ravindra Jadeja at £4,200 (around Rs 4.94 lakhs) followed by KL Rahul’s jerseys at £4,000 (around Rs 4.70 lakhs). The highest bid for a signed jersey belonged to Joe Root at £3,800 (аround Rs 4.47 lakhs) while Ben Stokes’ jersey received the second-highest bid at £3,400 (around Rs 4 lakhs). The highest price for a signed cap belonged to Root at £3,000 (around Rs 3.52 lakhs) while Rishabh Pant received the highest bid for an Indian jersey at £1,500 (around Rs 1.76 lakhs).
