]Shubman Gill Named BCCI Cricketer of the Year, Rahul Dravid Set for Lifetime Achievement Award

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is scheduled Naman Awards on March 15 in New Delhi. Many cricket stars from India will be honored at the event. India's Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill is expected to get the BCCI Cricketer of the Year award.
The Punjab batter had a great year with bat and now, he also become the captain in Tests and ODIs after Rohit Sharma. Shubman has performed very well in Tests and ODIs, but in T20I matches, he has not performed so well.
The former head coach of the Indian cricket team, Rahul Dravid, is expected to get the Col. C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award. Rahul Dravid helped India lift the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 as head coach.

Young cricketer Ayush Mhatre from Mumbai is to be awarded the Lal A Immunator Award for the best all-rounder in domestic 50-over cricket. Mithali Raj is expected to get a lifetime achievement award for her achievements as a captain of the Indian Women’s Team. The Mumbai Cricket Association is also expected to receive the award for being the best cricket association in India.
The awards function will also honour the Indian cricket teams for their success at major ICC tournaments. The Indian cricket teams that are expected to be represented at the awards function are those who won: ICC Champions Trophy (2025), ICC Women’s World Cup (2025), ICC Under 19 World Cup (2025), ICC Under 19 World Cup T20 (2025), ICC Men’s World Cup T20 (2026). The awards function will also honour cricket teams that had success during the previous season.
