Visiting captain Shubman Gill and head coach Gautam Gambhir led the team to the High Commission of India, where they presented signed cricket bats to the diplomatic leaders. The entire team, including support staff, attended the event at the High Commission on Tuesday, July 29, as documented by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their social media.
The presentation of the signed bats was a symbolic act of unity and pride. Captain Shubman Gill and head coach Gautam Gambhir handed over the bats to the Honourable High Commissioner Mr. Vikram Doraiswami and Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Sujit Ghosh, respectively. This gesture highlighted the team’s commitment to representing India both on and off the field.
