The 2026 SA20 auction took place in Johannesburg on Tuesday. Dewald Brevis became the most expensive player ever in the tournament, joining Pretoria Capitals for R16.5 million (₹8.3 crore). Two-time Sunrisers Eastern Cape champion Aiden Markram was also in high demand with Durban’s Super Giants signing him for R14 million. With all 84 spots across the six teams now filled.
