Rohit Sharma Likely to Attend Captain's Meetup in Pakistan Ahead of ICC Champions Trophy 2025

India's captain, Rohit Sharma, will travel to Pakistan before the Champions Trophy 2025 for a photoshoot before the big event. The hosting countries for International Cricket Council (ICC) tournaments are also a platform for special events where all the captains of the participating teams are featured.
This event also includes a group photo of the captains and a press conference in which they explain their strategies for the tournament. This ICC-organized event will see the captains of all eight teams that will be participating in the Champions Trophy 2025. But as for now, there is no official word on whether Rohit will be traveling to Pakistan or not. Details about his visit have not been confirmed by PTI.
The Champions Trophy 2025 is to start on February 19 with the hosts Pakistan beginning their campaign with a match against New Zealand. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will host the tournament, with India playing all their group stage matches in Dubai and the rest of the matches to be played in Pakistan.
India is currently getting ready for the upcoming white ball series against England. Rohit Sharma’s side is to play three ODIs against England before the Champions Trophy. The Indian team’s first match in the tournament will be against Bangladesh on February 20 at Dubai International Stadium.
Dubai will be hosting India’s three group-stage games and one of the semi-finals. The location of the final will be determined by India's performance. If India reaches the final, it will be held in Dubai; otherwise, Pakistan will host the final match.
