Rinku Singh’s Father Passes Away After Battle with Liver Cancer, Star Flies Home from Chennai
Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is going through a very sad phase from the past few months. His father, Khachandra Singh, passed away on February 27 after battling stage 4 liver cancer. He was undergoing treatment at Yatharth Hospital in Greater Noida. His doctors did their best to save him and kept him on a ventilator, but his health deteriorated in the last few days.

Rinku Singh was with the Indian team during the ICC Men's T20 World Cup when he received the very sad news. He had earlier gone back home before the Super 8 match against Zimbabwe when his father's health started deteriorating. He later rejoined his team in Chennai. After his father's death, he again left the camp and went to Aligarh.

His father has cancer for a long time, and his health has worsened in the last few weeks. Rinku did not play against Zimbabwe as the Indian team wanted to make some changes. Rinku has played five matches in the tournament and has scored 24 runs so far.
Now, India is preparing for a very important match against the West Indies in Kolkata. There is no official news whether Rinku will return to the match or not. It is a very tough time for Rinku and his family. The whole team and supporters are with him.
