Rinku Singh Secures Aligarh Bungalow After INR 13 Crore Retention by KKR

Following his retention by the Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL 2025 at an impressive INR 13 crore, Rinku Singh has achieved a personal milestone by purchasing a bungalow in Aligarh. A photograph capturing the left-handed batter receiving the keys to his new home alongside family members has taken social media by storm.

Rinku, who emerged as Kolkata's top retention, joins fellow players Varun Chakravarthy, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Ramandeep Singh. Rinku's journey with KKR began in 2018 at his base price of INR 50 lakh. Although opportunities were sparse in his initial years, he has become a vital part of the playing XI since 2023, consistently delivering match-winning performances.

In the 2023 season, Rinku amassed 474 runs across 14 matches, boasting an average of 59.25 and a strike rate of 149.52, including four half-centuries. His unforgettable feat of hitting five consecutive sixes against Yash Dayal was pivotal in KKR's victory over Gujarat Titans.

Rinku also plays a crucial role in India's T20 lineup, though he was not selected for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 squad.
