RCB-W vs UP-W Highlights, WPL 2026: Grace Harris Stars with an All-Round Show, Nadine de Klerk’s Four Wickets Seal Final Spot – Updated Points Table
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) booked their place in the WPL 2026 final after a dominant eight-wicket win over UP Warriorz on Thursday, January 29, at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara. It was a complete team effort, led by Grace Harris’ all-round performance and Nadine de Klerk’s brilliant bowling, that helped RCB reach their second WPL final.
Grace Harris 75 runs, Smriti Mandhana 54 runs, Nadine de Klerk 4/22 as RCB Reach Final
Grace Harris once again proved too strong for UP, scoring her second half-century of the season against them. She smashed 75 runs off just 37 balls, hitting 13 fours and two sixes. Harris also shared a big 108-run opening partnership with captain Smriti Mandhana, which came in only 55 balls. Mandhana played a calm and classy knock of 54 not out off 27 balls, with eight fours and two sixes, as RCB comfortably chased down the target of 144 in just 13.1 overs.
Earlier in the match, Harris also made an impact with the ball, picking up two wickets for 22 runs in her three overs. However, the standout performer was Nadine de Klerk, who produced her best bowling figures in WPL with 4 wickets for 22 runs.
She broke UP’s strong start by dismissing Meg Lanning, who had scored 41 off 30 balls. In the same over, she removed Amy Jones, which triggered a collapse. De Klerk later dismissed Simran Shaikh and Sophie Ecclestone to complete her four-wicket haul. With this performance, she became RCB’s highest wicket-taker in a single WPL season, going past Shreyanka Patil’s record from 2024.
For UP Warriorz, Deepti Sharma was the only batter who showed resistance, scoring 55 off 43 balls, which was her fourth half-century in the WPL. Apart from her, no other batter could stay long at the crease, and UP finished on 143 for 8 in 20 overs. After this win, RCB stayed on top of the points table with six wins from eight matches and 12 points. UP, meanwhile, remained at the bottom with just two wins from seven games and four points.
