RCB Unveil Stunning Green Jersey for IPL 2025 as Part of ‘Go Green’ Initiative

by UMMADI JAYA

Rajat Patidar, RCB's new captain, recently revealed the team’s jersey for the IPL 2025 season. Now, the team has also launched their classic green jersey, which they will wear in one match as part of their ‘Go Green’ initiative. This year's green jersey comes with a fresh and stylish design that has impressed cricket fans. Many supporters have shared positive feedback about the new look. The jersey is now available for purchase on the official Puma website.

RCB Unveils New Green Jersey for IPL 2025

RCB first introduced the green jersey in 2011 to raise awareness about keeping the environment clean and green. Since then, wearing the green jersey in one match each season has become a special tradition for the team.

What makes this jersey even more meaningful is that it’s made from recycled waste collected at the stadium. On average, around 8 tons of waste including dry waste, food waste, and recyclable materials is generated during each match. RCB has taken a step toward sustainability by repurposing this waste to create their green jerseys.

RCB will begin their IPL 2025 campaign against defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Eden Gardens on March 22. Their first home game at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will be on April 2 against Gujarat Titans. RCB will play four of their last six league matches at home, which could give them a strong chance to finish the season on a high note.
