The Rajasthan Royals (RR) are shaking things up behind the scenes after a disappointing IPL 2025 campaign. About three months after the season ended, head coach Rahul Dravid stepped down from his role. Just a week later, the franchise also ended its association with CEO Jake Lush McCrum, who had been part of the Royals setup since 2017.

Sportstar has reported that RR have now parted ways with their fielding coach, Dishant Yagnik. He joined the franchise before their return to IPL in 2018. Yagnik played 25 IPL matches for RR from 2011 to 2014.

The left-handed batsman played 50 first-class, 41 List A and 56 T20 matches in his domestic career spanning 13 years. The report also mentions that Shane Bond and Vikram Rathour will stay on with RR. Rathour, who was previously on Dravid’s coaching team for India, is the team’s batting coach, while Bond continues as the bowling coach.

Rahul Dravid Leaves Rajasthan Royals After One Season

Rahul Dravid was offered a broader role by RR after a structural review. The Indian legend decided against taking up that role and quit his position at the franchise. Dravid, who first joined RR in 2011, played for them till 2013. He coached them in IPL 2014 and 2015. Rahul Dravid came back to Rajasthan Royals after his successful time as India’s head coach, but his stay was short, just one season. Under his guidance, RR struggled and ended up ninth in the points table, winning only 4 out of their 14 matches.
