With no losses this season, Peshawar Zalmi have already qualified for the PSL playoffs, becoming the first team to do so. They will be facing Quetta Gladiators once again, after defeating them in the last game convincingly. For Zalmi, this game is as good as a dead rubber, though they’d want to maintain their top spot to get an extra shot at fighting for a berth in the final. 

For Quetta, the stakes are not only higher but also immediate. They are in the top four, with six points, but three other teams with the same number of points are lurking near, ready to pounce on their spot. They would do well to get home over Zalmi, however difficult it may seem.
