PSL 2026: Points Table, Most Runs, & Most Wickets after Islamabad qualify for the playoffs

Islamabad United have become the third team to qualify for the playoffs, joining Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans. Their and Multan’s final position will depend on who wins the final group-stage game set to be played between the two teams. However, Peshawar, with 17 points, are set to finish at the top of the table.

For the fourth spot, Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars, Hyderabad Kingsmen, and Karachi Kings are in contention. Currently, Lahore are in fourth place, but that is as volatile as it gets.

Islamabad United qualified after defeating Hyderabad Kingsmen in a low-scoring game. United bowlers, especially the spinners, led the charge against the debutants and defeated them by eight wickets with 80 balls to spare. Shadab Khan, who grabbed three wickets, is now the third-highest wicket-taker this season, with 13 scalps in total.

Zalmi’s Sufiyan Muqeem and Kusal Mendis continue to be at the top of the wicket-takers and run-scorers charts respectively.
