PSL 2026: Most runs and most wickets after Hyderabad’s incredible Eliminator 2 win
Hyderabad Kingsmen’s rise from rock bottom has been phenomenal to watch. After losing four straight games to begin their campaign, they sprouted seven wins in the next eight games. None of those wins, however, was as enthralling as what transpired at Gaddafi Stadium last night to march into the final.
The leading wicket-taking and run-scoring charts also have a Hyderabad hue now, with Mohammad Ali and Hunain Shah joining the top five. With one game to go, Ali and Hunain are currently third and fourth on the highest-wicket-takers list, respectively.
Usman Khan, who now has 381 runs in 12 matches, has scored more than half of those in the last three games. He is in fourth place among the batters with the most runs this season.
Zalmi’s top contenders, though, are still out of reach, especially among batters. Babar Azam currently has the Hanif Mohammad Cap, with 588 runs, and the only player close enough to grab that cap is his fellow Peshawar batter, Kusal Mendis.
