PSL 2026 IU vs Pindiz: Head-to-Head, Probable Playing XI, & Where to Watch

It’s Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) first city derby game. And to get to it, the league had to see many unexpected twists and turns. Rawalpindiz came into existence after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) backtracked on its decision to run Multan Sultans in-house and instead opted to auction it off. After the auction, Multan Sultans was changed to Rawalpindiz.

The debutant franchise, however, has not had the same excitement in their PSL campaign so far. Like their fellow debutant Hyderabad Kingsmen, Rawalpindiz have yet to win a game. They somewhat similarly lost to Karachi Kings the way they were outdone by Peshawar Zalmi; both games by 5 wickets and less than an over to spare.

While Islamabad United have been seeming off colour for now, they should still have enough composure to keep Rawalpindiz losing streak intact. Still whatever happens in terms of results, this game has plenty to look forward to, especially, it could shape one of PSL’s rivalries that might stay on for the seasons to come.
