Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Pindiz have named Jalat Khan as replacement for Zaman Khan for the upcoming season. During his team, Faisalabad’s game against Peshawar at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, Zaman dislocated his shoulder while fielding in the deep.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in a statement, confirmed that the pacer dislocated the Acromioclavicular joint (ACJ) of his right shoulder. The injury ruled him out of the domestic competition, as he was asked to report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore to start his rehabilitation.

Who is Jalat Khan?

Left-arm pacer Jalat Khan comes off a spectacular Pro50 Championship, Zimbabwe’s List A competition, season in Harare. He grabbed 22 wickets in five matches, the highest among all bowlers in the competition. In all, he has taken 25 wickets in 14 T20 games and will make his PSL debut with Pindiz, though he had previously been a part of Lahore Qalandars’ squad.
