PCB Serves Legal Notice to Mumbai Indians Corbin Bosch for Contract Breach
South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch, who was picked by the Mumbai Indians (MI) as a substitute player for the injured Lizaad Williams before the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season, has been issued a legal notice by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The update was verified by PCB on their website through an official statement.
It looks like Bosch has been accused of not following his contract properly. Before this, he was picked by Peshawar Zalmi for PSL 2025, but since the Pakistan T20 league is happening at the same time as IPL 2025, he ended up in a tough spot by pulling out of the PSL.
“The PCB management has also outlined the repercussions of his departure from the league and expects his response within the stipulated time frame. The PCB will not make any further comments on the matter.”
The legal notice has been sent through Bosch’s agent, and the Proteas player has been asked to explain why he didn’t keep his commitment. For those who don’t know, Corbin Bosch was earlier part of MI Cape Town, during the SA20 2025 season earlier this year.
Before the SA20 2025 season, the right-armer made his Test debut in December 2024. He also earned his white-ball cap during the ODI series against Pakistan and was part of South Africa’s squad in the recent Champions Trophy 2025. The upcoming PSL season is set to be played from April 11 to May 25, coinciding directly with the IPL, which will be played from March 22 to May 25.
