Pakistan great Wasim Akram will organise key aspects of the auction, as announced by PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

"The best thing for the PSL and the PSL brand is that Wasim Akram has been appointed as the brand ambassador. From January 1, he will officially take on this role," Naqvi had said.

"Not only that, he is also organising key aspects of the auction. There will be an international auctioneer, and Wasim Akram will be actively involved as well."

The eleventh edition of the Pakistan Super League will run from March 25 to May 3, making it the longest season yet.
