Pakistan Test team leaves for Bangladesh for a two-match Test series

Pakistan’s squad has left for Bangladesh to play a two-match Test series, set to begin on May 8.
Babar, Shehzad to link-up later
The squad includes all players except Babar Azam and Khurram Shehzad, both of whom are with Peshawar Zalmi for the PSL 11 Final. The two players will link up with the squad in Bangladesh after the final.
The squad had a four-day training camp that ran between April 27 and May 1 in Karachi, which was attended by all players except those involved in the league.
This will be Pakistan’s second Test series of the ongoing World Test Championship, having already faced South Africa in a two-match series in October last year. Pakistan are currently fifth on the WTC points table, winning one and losing as many games.
The two Test matches will be played in Dhaka and Sylhet respectively.
