Pakistan announce squad for 2026 T20 World Cup and Ireland tri-series

Pakistan women have announced a 15-member squad fpr the upcoming Ireland series as well as the T20 World Cup. 

The side, who just wrapped up a three-match series with a 3-0 ein over Zimbabwe Women, are scheduled to fly to Ireland to play a tri-series involving the hosts and West Indies, besides Pakistan. The series will be played in lead-up to the T20 World Cup, set to begin on June 12.

Fatima Sana to lead the side

Pakistan will be led by Fatima Sana, who will captain the side for the second time in ICC events. The rest of the squad remaisn the same as what was named against Zimabbawe for the home T20I series, except oen change. Young player Amber Kainat, who made her debut during the Zimbabwe tour, has been replaced with bowler Diana Baig. 

Amber has been placed in the reserves, along with Momina Riasat, Sadaf Shamas, Sidra Amin, Syeda Aroob Shah and Umm-e-Hani.`

Pakistan will begin their campaign against arch-rivals against India in Birmingham on June 14.

Fatima Sana (c), Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Diana Baig, Eyman Fatima, Gull Feroza, Iram Javed, Muneeba Ali Siddiqui (wk), Nashra Sundhu, Natalia Pervaiz, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Saira Jabeen, Tasmia Rubab and Tuba Hassan.

Reserves: Amber Kainat, Momina Riasat, Sadaf Shamas, Sidra Amin, Syeda Aroob Shah and Umm-e-Hani.`
