Only Harleen Deol and Kashvee Gautam managed to score 32 and 20, respectively, while the other batters failed to even cross the 15-run mark. Gujarat Giants began their season with the inaugural match of the WPL 2025 against the defending champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The team has played seven matches so far, winning four against Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and UP Warriorz (both). The team lost both matches against Mumbai Indians and one against RCB which was the inaugural match. This will be the last group stage match of the season for Gujarat Giants, and they will be aiming to win this match to secure the top spot for direct qualification for the finals.

 

Mumbai Indians’ Performance in the WPL 2025

In the six matches played so far, the Mumbai Indians have won four against the UP Warriorz, Gujarat Giants, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru while losing both matches against the Delhi Capitals. With two matches remaining, the Mumbai Indians, currently in third place, could reach the top spot by winning the upcoming two matches and then get a direct entry into the WPL 2025 finals.
