MI Cape Town clinches first-ever SA20 playoff spot with dominant win over Sunrisers Eastern CapeOn Wednesday MI Cape Town delivered a stunning all-round performance at Newlands, securing their first time in the SA20 Playoffs. They easily defeated Sunrisers Eastern Cape with a dominant 10-wicket win.

Corbin Bosch bowled very well with 4/19 and Kagiso Rabada also bowled well with 2/14, With this excellent performance, SEC was bowled out for 107. In the second innings, Ryan Rickelton scored 59 off 36 balls and Rassie van der Dussen scored 48 from 30 balls. The openers finished the match without losing a wicket.

Their win secured MICT a place in playoffs, where they'll face off against Paarl Royals, in Gqeberha on February 4. The winner of that match will secure a place in the final.

MICT's bowlers put on an exceptional performance, and they also field brilliantly. Dewald Brevis, Bosch, and Reeza Hendricks all took key catches, Brevis took an excellent one-handed catch brilliantly.
