Captaincy Uncertainty if Litton Das Misses a Match

Even though Litton didn’t seem too hurt after the incident losing their captain would be a big blow for Bangladesh against an unbeaten Indian team. In their first Super Four match, Bangladesh played really well and won by four wickets. Saif Hassan gave a strong start, scoring 61 runs off 45 balls, while Towhid Hridoy shone in the middle overs with 58 runs off 37 balls to guide the team to victory. On the bowling side, experienced pacer Mustafizur Rahman took 3 wickets for just 20 runs in four overs, keeping his economy at 5.00.

Litton Das has made 119 runs in the tournament so far, with an average of 29.75 and one fifty. Right now, he is Bangladesh’s second-best scorer in the Asia Cup after Hridoy. If Litton can’t play, it’s not yet known who will lead the team, since Bangladesh haven’t chosen a vice-captain for this tournament.
