Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were the standout team at the IPL 2026 auction in Abu Dhabi, as they bought three of the six most expensive players sold on Tuesday. It shelled out a whopping Rs. 25.20 crore for Australian all-rounder Cameron Green and also secured the services of death-overs specialist Matheesha Pathirana for Rs. 18 crore. The three-time champion was in dire need of a wicketkeeper-batter after releasing Quinton de Kock, and it brought in the Kiwi duo of Finn Allen and Tim Seifert, as well as Tejasvi Singh, to make up for it.
