IPL 2026 Points Table Update After CSK vs MI Clash
The IPL “El Clásico” was quite an interesting match as CSK defeated MI with 8 wickets in hand in MA Chidambaram Stadium. CSK comfortably chased down the target of 160 runs. Their captain Ruturaj Gaikwad played a wonderful innings and remained not out scoring 67 runs. Kartik Sharma also played brilliantly scoring his first fifty in IPL.
This victory has been helpful for CSK who have moved up to 6th position with 8 points. CSK has playoff hopes going forward.
For MI, things are really difficult as they have lost this match which is their 7th consecutive loss. They currently are placed at 9th spot and reaching playoffs would become very tough for them.
Punjab Kings are currently sitting at the top spot. Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Sunrisers Hyderabad are following them.
