IPL 2026 Points Table After CSK’s Dominant All-Round Performance Against Mumbai Indians
The opening of the IPL’s “El Clasico” match from the Wankhede Stadium witnessed intense thrill. However, it ended up being a one-sided contest. Sanju Samson gave a wonderful inning in the game.
He scored 101* runs off 54 balls and guided his team Chennai Super Kings to the scoreline of 207/6. Despite the good start of the opponents through quick dismissals of few players by Allah Ghazanfar, Samson remained calm and continued scoring.
While batting, Mumbai Indians found themselves in a very difficult situation where they continuously lost their wickets. Their bowling side, on the other hand, was brilliant in this contest with Akeal Hosein bagging four wickets.
Suryakumar Yadav (36) and Tilak Varma (37) tried hard. However, no other player joined them in the fight back. Mumbai Indians were ultimately dismissed with the score of 104 only. It was thus an excellent victory for CSK.
