IPL 2026 Playoffs Likely at Mullanpur’s PCA Stadium Near Chandigarh

The IPL 2026 playoff matches are likely to be played at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium in Mullanpur, near Chandigarh. This news has come out even though the full IPL 2026 schedule has not been announced yet. 

Last year, the venue hosted Qualifier 1 and Eliminator after matches were rescheduled due to Operation Sindoor.

Mullanpur Likely to Host IPL 2026 Playoff Matches

According to Johns, the PCA Stadium in Mullanpur will host the IPL 2026 playoff matches. To date, the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh PCA Stadium, which serves as the home ground for Punjab Kings (PBKS), has hosted 11 IPL games to date. As per reports, IPL 2026 will be held from March 26 and will finish on May 31. 

Earlier this year, the IPL 2025 playoff matches were shifted to other stadiums because of Operation Sindoor and ongoing India–Pakistan tensions. As a result, Mullanpur hosted the Qualifier 1 and Eliminator while Qualifier 2 and the IPL 2025 final was held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ended their 17-year-wait to lift the trophy after defeating PBKS by 6 runs.
