IPL 2026 Most Runs & Wickets Update: Sanju Samson, Karthik Sharma Star in Chennai Super Kings Win vs Delhi Capitals

Chennai Super Kings remained alive in the race to qualify for the playoffs after winning against Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In reply to 156 runs, Sanju Samson performed a terrific innings and scored 87* runs off 52 deliveries, making it a cakewalk for his team.
Kartik Sharma assisted him in his splendid innings and scored 41* runs, enabling them to complete their run-chase comfortably with 15 balls to spare. Before that, the bowlers of Chennai bowled well and limited Delhi to 155/7. Noor Ahmad took 2 wickets, while Akeal Hosein delivered tight overs to their opponents.
With this victory, Chennai accumulated 10 points and remained in contention for the IPL playoffs. Sanju Samson is performing fantastically this season, scoring over 400 runs and entering the list of top-five run-getters in the tournament.
