"The Men's Selection Committee will pick India's team for the IDFC First Bank ODI series against England and the imminent ICC Champions Trophy 2025 tomorrow (18 January) in Mumbai. It will be followed by a press conference," the BCCI said in a statement.
Recently, the board announced the squad for the IND vs ENG T20I series starting from Kolkata on January 22. India's Champions Trophy campaign is then to start from Dubai on February 20. The squad announcement is likely to be as per expectations with minimal surprises.
Even with their injuries, Bumrah and Kohli are must-picks. The two wicket-keeping gloves for the tour are likely to be Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul. Mohammed Siraj and Arshdeep Singh have strong chances to make it to the pace attack, while the spin combo could include Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Washington Sundar.
