India's Cricket Schedule 2025: Full Fixtures for England, Champions Trophy, Asia Cup, and Australia Tour
In 2024, the Indian team finally got the ICC T20 World Cup trophy after a long 17 years but not everything was great. They also hit a very bad place, losing a three-match test series on their own turf for the first time in history.
The year wrapped up in a significantly disappointing manner because India lost the Boxing Day Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), they hadn't lost there since 2011. Fans are very eager to see what 2025's cricket games have planned, even with all the ups and downs that happened. We're going to explore what India's cricket lineup looks like for next year.
India's Cricket Fixtures in 2025
India is beginning 2025 with a New Year's Test against Australia in Sydney on January 3; this game finishes up the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. After finishing that, the Test team players will have a short rest, and then the moment comes for the shorter cricket format to take the spotlight, with Suryakumar Yadav leading the T20 team, they've got a busy schedule by welcoming England for five T20I matches. Right after those clashes, India is set to start three ODI matches. All the aforementioned action is happening right before the ICC Champions Trophy starts.
ICC Champions Trophy and IPL
India's cricket team will jump straight from the Indian Premier League (IPL), which begins on March 14 and wraps up by the end of May, to playing in the Champions Trophy, the major event set for somewhere around the middle of the year. What's amazing is that India's games will happen in Dubai, even though Pakistan is the one hosting officially. In addition, the tourney's going to have different types of games happening.
