Indian Cricket Team Likely to Play Warm-Up Match in Dubai Ahead of ICC Champions Trophy 2025
Rohit Sharma is the captain of the Indian cricket team. They're going to Dubai to get ready for the Champions Trophy. It starts on February 19, but before their important first game on February 20 at the Dubai, they're going to practice. They will play against the team from Bangladesh for their first match on February 20. Before, India will play one warm-up game, with the opponent all but confirmed.
Dainik Jagran said India's cricket team could play a practice game before Champions Trophy. They might play a practice game with Bangladesh or maybe the UAE. ICC said that all the games India is going to participate in will be in Dubai. They are planning to organize a practice game to help the players adapt to the playing conditions and style in Dubai.
There's the Champions Trophy and Pakistan is going to have it at their location. But India and Pakistan amid the long-standing political tension, so India's government said their cricket team can't go to Pakistan. Because of this, the team with their captain Rohit Sharma will play their games in Dubai, not in Pakistan.
There's a important game going to happen in Dubai. Bangladesh and India are in the same group, and they will both playing in the Champions Trophy. Before the Champions Trophy begin, Reports says Bangladesh and India might play one practice match.
India also has an ODI series scheduled against England
The India cricket team is getting ready to play the Champions Trophy. They're going to have a practice game in Dubai before they are playing series against England. They're playing five T20I's, against England where Jos Buttler captain. After these games, they're going to play a ODIs, against England starting on February 6.
Everyone on the team is ready to play except for Jasprit Bumrah because he got injured and is not able to play. They trained a lot in India and also played games with teams from other countries to become ready.
