India vs New Zealand T20 World Cup 2026 Final: Special Delhi–Ahmedabad Train Announced
India will play New Zealand in the T20 World Cup 2026 final on March 8 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Northern Railways has announced a special train from Delhi to Sabarmati so fans can watch the match live.
As the tickets were released late, many of the fans failed to book the travel arrangements. Flight price surged, leaving them distraught and that’s when the Northern Railways announced the arrangement.
Railways launches special Delhi–Ahmedabad train for T20 World Cup final
On March 7th, the special train will depart New Delhi Railway Station at 11:45 PM, arriving in Sabarmati the following day at 2:30 PM. It will stop along the way at Delhi Cant, Gurgaon, and Jaipur. The train will have 19 coaches total, which will include Third AC and Second AC coaches.
The Indian team arrived in Ahmedabad on March 6th and will have a training session from 6 PM to 9 PM tonight.
The New Zealand team will train in the afternoon from 2 PM - 5 PM, while their pre-match press conference is scheduled for 1:30 PM. India will have a media interaction that begins 15 minutes prior to their practice.
