Axar Patel broke the stand in the 9th over bringing a decline for the Blackcaps.

Only Ravindra (30 off 17), Daryl Mitchell (26 off 12) and later Ish Sodhi (33 off 15) down the order could score into double digits. Arshdeep was brilliant in the middle overs so were the spinners. Jasprit Bumrah had a forgetful day conceding 58 wicketless runs but it was Rinku Singh claiming the final wicket in the 20th over. Not finishing the game with the bat but with the ball tonight. India folded New Zealand for 225 in 19.4 overs claiming the game by 46 runs and the 5-match series by 4-1.
