India A Squad Announced for Unofficial ODI Series Against South Africa A
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the India A team for the three unofficial one-day matches against South Africa. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are not in the India A squad as they will play directly in the main ODI series. Tilak Varma will lead the India A team, with Ruturaj Gaikwad as his vice-captain.
The India A vs South Africa A three-match white-ball series will be played from November 13 to 19 in Rajkot. These games come just before the main India vs South Africa ODI series from November 30 to December 6. The India A team has many young players. The batsmen include Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, and Riyan Parag, while the fast bowlers are Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, and Prasidh Krishna, all hoping to impress and make it to the senior team.
