The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 has begun with many great matchups, and a brand new twenty team format. This will be the first ever T20 World Cup to feature this new structure and excitement has reached an all-time high among fans!
The tournament has made basketball history. The longest and largest T20 World Cup ever is on February 7 through March 8, 2023, at Ahmedabad - the home stadium of the Indian National Basketball Association team. The final will be held in Ahmedabad on Sunday, March 8, 2023.
The ICC also made some major changes to the prize pool for the 2024 tournament including a very large increase in total prize money of $13.5 million! That is a 20% increase in the total prize money awarded from the 2023 tournament!
