ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is finally here, as the prestigious tournament is returning after a wait of 8 years. The Champions Trophy 2025 will be played in Pakistan and Dubai and will feature eight teams, with Afghanistan making its debut in the ICC Champions Trophy.
Previously, the entire Champions Trophy was set to be hosted in Pakistan. However, India's refusal to travel to Pakistan due to security reasons created a big tussle between the BCCI and PCB. The resolution finally came when both nations agreed to hold their matches in the upcoming ICC tournaments at a neutral venue. Therefore, in the Champions Trophy 2025, India will play all of its matches, including semi-finals and finals, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
