ICC Announces Match Officials for 2025 Champions Trophy Final Between India and New ZealandICC has announced the match referees and umpires for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai International Stadium. India and New Zealand will face each other for the trophy on Sunday, March 9th.

The umpires for the finals on the field will be Paul Reiffel and Richard Illingworth. The third umpire is Joel Wilson while Kumar Dharmasena will be the fourth umpire. Veteran Ranjan Madugalle has been named the match referee.

Paul Reiffel was one of the umpires for the South Africa vs New Zealand semi-final in Lahore, while Richard Illingworth officiated the India vs Australia semi-final in Dubai.

Four-time ICC Umpire of the Year, Richard Illingworth, officiated in the final of both the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup and the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

India beat Australia by four wickets in the first semi-final to qualify for the summit clash, while New Zealand registered a thumping 50-run victory over South Africa in the second semi-final.

The final match between India and New Zealand is set to kick off at 2:30 PM IST at the Dubai International Stadium.
