The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 mega auction was held on November 27 in New Delhi. A total of 67 players were bought by the five teams. The team had already kept Ashleigh Gardner and Beth Mooney before the season. Their biggest buys on Thursday were Sophie Devine for Rs 2 crore and Georgia Wareham.

With Mooney, Gardner, Wareham, and Devine, the Giants have a strong overseas batting lineup. But their Indian batters are still a bit weak. Strengths for GG are Strong overseas players like Gardner, Mooney, Devine, and Wareham. Weaknesses for GG's Indian batting and pace attack are not very strong.
