Smriti Mandhana’s brother, Shravan Mandhana, has denied all the rumours about a new wedding date for Smriti and Palash Muchhal. Earlier today, social media was flooded with posts claiming that the couple would now get married on December 7.

But Shravan has made it clear that the wedding is still postponed and that no new date has been decided yet. He also stated that he is unaware about the rumours as well.

"I have no idea about these rumours. As of now, it (the wedding) is still postponed," Shravan said while speaking to Hindustan Times.

Shravan Mandhana Denies New Wedding Date Rumours

The wedding was suddenly put on hold on the morning of the ceremony after Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, had a serious health emergency and was taken to the hospital. Her manager, Tuhin Mishra, had confirmed at that time that the wedding was postponed.

"Today in the morning, when Smriti's father was having breakfast, his health deteriorated. We waited for a bit, thinking he would get fine. But when it deteriorated further, we called for an ambulance and took him to the hospital, and he is under observation. Smriti is very close to her father. She has decided that the marriage will be indefinitely postponed until he gets well. Her father is under observation and the doctor has told that he will have to stay in hospital until he recovers. Smriti is clear, she wants to see her father well and then get married," he had said.

Ever since the wedding was postponed, many rumours have been spreading on social media. Different people, including Palash and choreographer Nandika Dwivedi, have been dragged into the controversy.

On Monday (December 1), Palash was seen at the airport for the first time since the news broke. He was with his mother and a security guard. The media tried to get a comment from him, but he chose not to respond and walked ahead quietly.
