Cricket Australia Awards 2025: Complete List of Winners
The 2025 Cricket Australia Awards were held at Crown Casino in Melbourne on Monday, February 3 to celebrate the top Australian Cricket performers of the year. Australia didn’t win an ICC title in 2024 but the team did have some big achievements. The Men’s team had been waiting for 10 years to lift the Border Gavaskar Trophy and also had a Test series win over New Zealand earlier in the year.
The women’s team had a great year, they started with a 3-0 ODI series sweep over India in India and then continued with a dominant whitewash of England in the women’s ashes. In domestic cricket, Western Australia maintained their good form and clinched both the Sheffield Shield and the Marsh Cup in the 2023-24 season. In the Big Bash League, Hobart Hurricanes won the BBL 2024-25 trophy and Melbourne Renegades emerged as the champions of the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) 2024-25.
There was also some exciting new talent rising to the occasion in Australia. Sam Konstas made a memorable Test debut at the MCG against India, while Cooper Connolly shined in the domestic circuit.
