BCCI NAMAN Awards 2026: Five ICC Trophy-Winning Indian Teams to Be Honoured in New Delhi
Dominance is the best word to describe Indian cricket right now. Since the team ended its ICC trophy drought in 2024, it has been unstoppable. Indian cricket has rarely seen such a strong run. Over the last year, teams across different levels, from the senior men’s side to junior squads, have brought home ICC trophies.
Now, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) plans to celebrate that golden period in style. The BCCI will host its annual NAMAN Awards on March 15 in New Delhi, where players and support staff from five ICC title-winning Indian teams will be honoured. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia confirmed that the ceremony will bring together champions from across formats and age groups.
“The BCCI Awards ceremony will take place on March 15 in New Delhi. We plan to invite all the ICC tournament winners, including the recent T20 World Cup champions, along with their coaches,” Saikia told IANS.
BCCI to Honour Five ICC Trophy-Winning Indian Teams at NAMAN Awards
There's a high probability that the annual IPL awards night will take place at a luxurious five-star hotel in close proximity to the airport, as numerous players are departing shortly to join their respective IPL teams shortly. The IPL awards ceremony celebrates India's outstanding achievement of success at all of the major global competitions over the last 12 months.
In addition to being recognised for the FIFA Men's T20 World Cup (2026) winning side there will also be an invitation sent to the (2025) ICC Champions Trophy (Men's) winning side, the (Senior Women) national cricket team and the (Under 19 Boys & Girls) national cricket teams who have also won ICC trophies in 2025.
“We will also invite the 2025 Champions Trophy winning team members too. So, five ICC trophies won by various Indian teams during the course of last one year – all the members of those teams will be honoured on the awards night and it will be a great evening of celebrations,” Saikia said.
