Babar Azam's Phone Lost: Fans Express Concern Over the Setback
Babar Azam, Pakistan’s top batter, shared an update on social media about losing his phone and all his contacts. Babar didn't give any details of what happened but simply assured his followers that once he got his phone back, he'd be in touch with them. That post got him tons of supportive and concerned messages from fans.

Babar Azam's Lost Phone Sparks Concern Among Fans
Babar Azam will next be seen in action during the Tri-Nation Series, featuring New Zealand and South Africa. The series starts on Saturday, February 8, with the opening match between New Zealand and hosts Pakistan at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium.
After the tri-series, Pakistan will shift its attention to the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 which is going to be held in Pakistan and UAE. The tournament which is returning after an eight-year break starts from February 19. As the defending champions Pakistan is in Group A of the tournament and will play alongside India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh.
In ODIs Pakistan was simply outstanding in 2024, they won three consecutive away series against Zimbabwe, Australia, and South Africa. Babar Azam was also in good form individually, he made 228 runs in six innings with an average of 57. They will need his performance if Pakistan is to defend their 2017 Champions Trophy title, where they shocked India by defeating them by 180 runs in the final.
The excitement of the India vs Pakistan match on February 23 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium was there as the tickets were sold within minutes of being released on Monday. More than 1,50,000 fans tried to get their tickets online and the waiting time was more than an hour. The stadium has 25,000 seats but all the tickets of major categories, including Platinum 2,000 Dirham (47,434 Indian Rupees) and Grand Lounge 5,000 Dirham (1.8 lakh Indian Rupees) are also sold out.
