Australia's Adam Zampa Tricks Mohammad Rizwan into Wasting DRS in 2nd ODI - Watch the Hilarious Moment

by Alxe

In a memorable moment during the second ODI between Australia and Pakistan in Adelaide, Australian spinner Adam Zampa engaged in a playful exchange with Pakistan's new captain, Mohammad Rizwan. The amusing incident took place in the 34th over of Australia's innings, which ended prematurely on the last ball of the 35th over. After choosing to bowl, Pakistan managed to restrict Australia to just 163 runs, following Australia's narrow loss in Melbourne during the series opener.

In the 34th over, bowler Naseem Shah delivered a short-pitched ball to Zampa, who attempted a pull shot towards deep backward square leg. Rizwan appealed loudly for a catch behind the stumps, but the umpire dismissed the appeal. With the bowler uncertain about an edge, Rizwan humorously asked Zampa if he had heard anything. Zampa, seizing the moment, joked with Rizwan about whether he should use the DRS.

Falling for Zampa's playful tactics, Rizwan opted for the review, only for Snicko replays to reveal a significant gap between the bat and the ball. Despite the wasted review, Rizwan took it in good spirits, sharing a friendly smile with Zampa.

Meanwhile, Haris Rauf's impressive 5-29 helped Pakistan dismiss Australia for 163. Rauf's pace proved troublesome for the hosts, with Steve Smith top-scoring with 35 runs.
