India and Pakistan, the two arch-rivals, are ready to face each other again as the Asia Cup 2025 moves into the Super 4 stage. Four teams make it to this round after the 12 group matches. India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, still have one league game left against Oman on Friday in Abu Dhabi. But with a huge Net Run Rate (NRR) advantage over second-placed Pakistan, the Men in Blue are almost certain to finish on top of Group A.
Even if India loses to Oman, their strong net run rate means they will still finish first in Group A ahead of Pakistan. For Oman and hosts UAE, the journey ends here as they bow out after the group stage. In Group B, Sri Lanka were dominant, winning all their matches to seal the top spot, while Bangladesh secured their place in the Super 4s with wins over Afghanistan and Hong Kong.
The Super 4 stage begins on Saturday in Dubai, with Sri Lanka facing Bangladesh in the opener. On Sunday, fans will be treated to the big clash between India and Pakistan. After all six Super 4 matches are done, the top two sides will meet again in the grand final.
