Asia Cup 2025: Where to Watch, India Squad, Full Schedule, Playing XI and Venues The excitement for the Asia Cup 2025 is already building, even though the tournament is still 20 days away from its start on 9 September in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Originally planned to be hosted in India, the tournament had to be moved to the UAE after India and Pakistan reached a mutual agreement to play at neutral venues until 2027 due to ongoing cross-border tensions.

The 17th edition of the Asia Cup will feature eight teams competing for the title. The teams are divided into two groups of four with the top two from each group advancing to the Super Four stage. In this stage, teams will play each other once more and the top two will progress to the final on 28 September.

The Asia Cup 2025 will feature 19 matches across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with Dubai hosting 11, including the final on September 28. India, the defending champions, will play their first match against UAE on September 10. The big clash everyone is waiting for is India vs Pakistan on September 14 in Dubai, with the chance for the two teams to meet up to three times if they both make it to the Super 4 and final.
