Asia Cup 2025 Records: Most Centuries, Most Wickets & Highest Scores in Asia Cup History
The Asia Cup 2025 complete schedules have been revealed officially. This 17th edition of the Asia Cup will be played in T20I format, as it will be the third edition of the T20 Asia Cup.
India holds the hosting rights for the Asia Cup 2025, but the matches will actually be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from September 9 to 28, 2025. This year, eight teams will take part, making it the first Asia Cup with more than six teams in the tournament.
Asia Cup 2025: Tournament Format
The Asia Cup 2025 will have two groups, with four teams in each group. In the group stage, every team will play one match against each of the other teams in their group. After all the matches, the top two teams from each group will move on to the Super Four stage.
In the Super Four, each team will play against all three other teams, including a rematch against the team from their own group. Once these matches are over, the two teams with the most points will go to the final.
This means the two finalists will definitely play each other at least twice during the tournament—once in the Super Four and again in the final. If the two finalists come from the same group, they will play each other three times in total.
Some players have really shined in the Asia Cup. Scoring a century in international cricket is a huge achievement. Doing it in the Asia Cup, with all the pressure, shows how talented and mentally strong a player truly is.
